Tama Kieves is an honors graduate of Harvard Law School who left a prestigious law career to follow her calling as a writer, speaker, and teacher. She is the bestselling author of six books, including A Course in Miracles for Life Ninjas and her most recent, Learning to Trust Yourself (St. Martin's Press, 2025).
Featured in USA Today, the Huffington Post, Forbes, and on ABC News and Oprah Media, Tama has helped thousands worldwide discover, launch, and thrive in the life and work of their dreams. She has taught A Course in Miracles in an interactive, deeply experiential way for over 30 years.
Tama presents at the Omega Institute, the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, the Esalen Institute, 1440 Multiversity, and TEDx, and is known for her electrifying presence, grounded compassion, and the sweeping sense of possibility she ignites in those she teaches.

The Council has held its annual retreat at Mercy Center for many years. It is a beautiful and peaceful setting for spiritual deepening.
ACIM students from St. Louis and beyond. Past retreats have welcomed 50–85 participants. Both in-person and virtual options have been available in recent years.
We understand that plans change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and clear for all participants.
Refund requests must be submitted at least 3 weeks before the event. No refunds after that date.
Refunded at the original transaction amount less a 10% processing fee.
Refunded in full, provided the request is within the refund window.
You may transfer your registration to another person up to 1 week before the event. Requests must be made in writing with the new attendee's full name and contact information, and are subject to approval.
In the rare event the Council must cancel or reschedule, all participants receive a full refund.
Refunds are processed within 30 days. Refunds are issued first to the original credit card, then via PayPal, then by check to the address on file.
